It began when Jim Powers of Chicago's Minty Fresh Records approached Ralph Covert, then teaching Powers' child in the Old Town School's Wiggleworms music program, about the state of affairs in children's music. Covert was taking a fresh approach (and writing original songs) with his classes, to keep things interesting for the kids, parents and himself. Powers, who'd surveyed the children's scene around town with his 2-year-old son, and found something lacking. The two decided that the time was right to record an album of Ralph's original kids music, which eventually became known as "Ralph's World." Songs Include: 1. Freddy Bear the Teddy Bear 2. Choo-Choo Train 3. Ragtime Cowboy Joe 4. Seven Monkeys in a Tree 5. Animal Friends 6. Marching Medley 7. Winnie the Pooh/The Wonderful Thing About Tigger 8. All My Colors 9. The Name Song 10.
